About Me
Hello and welcome to my space! My name is Caleb and I'm currently a DevOps Engineer at LeafLink, where I've been honing my skills for over a year. With more than 7 years of experience under my belt, I'm deeply passionate about designing, building, and optimizing scalable cloud environments. My journey in the tech world has seen me wear multiple hats, from being an Automation Engineer at Wells Fargo to a Site Reliability Engineer at UNFI, and even a DevOps Consultant at Taos. Each role has been a stepping stone, adding a unique perspective to my skillset.
My time at Delta Air Lines was particularly transformative. I started there as a ramp worker, a role I took on to fund my university education. Over the years, I climbed the ladder, transitioning into tech roles such as a Business Analyst and DevOps Engineer. This journey taught me the value of hard work, determination, and seizing opportunities.
Beyond my professional life, I'm an avid tinkerer and a firm believer in continuous learning. My recent adventures in the world of IoT led me to create a suit that lights up to the rhythm of music, thanks to the magic of Arduino. Virtual Reality has also caught my fancy, and I've been having a blast exploring different realms with my Oculus Quest 3. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I've been fortunate enough to visit over 20 countries, a feat I owe in part to my time at Delta.
When I'm not traveling or immersed in the digital realm, I enjoy penning down my thoughts and experiences. My writings often revolve around DevOps, process management, and, of course, my experiments with IoT.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures as much as I enjoy living them!
